Paul & Nicky Newbold and Andrew & Jane Merchant welcome you to their bar & restaurant in the heart of the lovely picturesque village of Folles in the Limousin Region of France. 

Do not hesitate to push the door of the restaurant "The Viaduct", the name given in reference to the "Viaduct Rocherolles" beautiful structure built spanning the mid nineteenth century Gartempe a few miles away. These are 4 British, Andrew, Jane, Graham and Milly that will serve you a quality French cuisine (grilled meat, melted Camembert Prestige with meats, stews ...) the whole "homemade". Guests can also enjoy the traditional "fish & chips" or "burger Viaduct" specialties of 2 counts.

Paul and Andrew both come from catering backgrounds and are both fully qualified chefs with different specialties, but both chefs have the same aim and motivations to bring you the customer, quality traditional French cuisine with locally sourced produce, that you will want to keep returning to sample the next culinary delight. Nicky also comes from a catering background and with her front of house and management experience,and with the assistance of Jane they are hoping to tempt you to such things as guest beers and quality wines.

Daily Menus

Tuesday - Friday Midday Menu du Jour 12,90€ Starter - Main - Cheese - Sweet (25cl) wine included.

Tuesday - Sunday Lunchtimes and evenings full a la carte menu available as below.

The Viaduc Burger has become a huge hit with our customers, and has become one of our signature dishes, large 150g full minced steak burger cooked to your liking and topped with bacon cheese, mustard and mayonaise.

Or if you fancy a good steak we have entrecote or bavette, or for that really special treat for cheese lovers a complete camembert roasted in the oven with garlic, parsley and white wine, served with chips salad and lots of french stick to dip in the cheese.

All our menu is cooked to order and all our sauces home made, it is our aim to produce you the customer quality food at affordable prices with maximum taste.

Come and try our homemade fish and chips, prime cod filets deep fried in our secret beer batter, with chips and curry sauce if required. No need to reserve for 3 terrace gigs just turn up and enjoy the entertainment.
