There are plenty of things to do.
Whether you like looking around the local markets, fairs and farms for some fresh produce to enjoy for lunch, dining 'al-fresco' on the patio at La Maison de Cromac or you may prefer to dine out and sample of the world renowned Limousin Beef followed by the local dish of Cherry Clafouti, the Haute-Vienne has it all.

If you prefer something more active then there are plenty of opportunities for walking, hiking, cycling and horse riding within the vacinity of La Maison de Cromac. There is a swimming pool with water slide and a lakeside literally 5 mins from the house at Lac Mondon and there are plenty of other lakes located nearby including the more notable St Pardoux & Lac Vassiviere which is one of the largest man made lakes in france, with beaches, restaurants, watersports, cycle and walkways.



You may enjoy the more historical and art side of France and there are plenty of churches, chateaux, museums and art galleries to enjoy. The departments capital Limoges being world renowned for its Ceramics and definitely worth a days excursion.

There are plenty of activities for the younger members with a whole host of Theme & Adventure Parks, from climbing through the trees to travelling along the velorail or discovering the region geo-caching, there's are lots to keep the younger members of the family entertained.

There is much more that could be added to the list but hopefully, this gives you a flavour of the exciting adventures and experiences that may be had around La Maison de Cromac.  There are also numerous high quality restaurants in the area as well as friendly local cafes and bars.  Whether you chose to rest and relax or to live each day full of action and adventure, one thing is assured; your holiday seem to be too short!
